Mark Doodney
Tax Specialist
I was a fully technically trained officer with HMRC for 28 years, where I was a capital allowance specialist and compliance manager. Since leaving I have been heavily involved in representing clients under HMRC enquiry.
I was the lead caseworker in the First-tier Tax Tribunal cases of May & Anor v Comms for HMRC and JRO Griffiths Ltd v Comms for HMRC, which found that capital allowances were due in respect of grain and potato stores respectively.
What makes CARS great is…
The amount of due diligence that goes into every case.
On a Saturday morning, you’ll usually find me…
At archery practice or watching rugby (Exeter Chiefs)
